Moonlight Ski & Snowshoe

*If rentals are needed, meet at Enchanted Forest at 4:30 pm.

On a typical tour, a group of skiers or snowshoers head out with guides on a (2 mile)round-trip tour with a halfway stop at our Midway Yurt by the fire for s’mores, homemade cookies, and hot drinks.

We don’t recommend skiing for beginners (though, for some, a beginner lesson at Enchanted Forest is all that is needed), and this is too taxing for small children.

Note: Enchanted Forest has never heavily promoted its moonlight tours because the weather is so hard to predict. There have been days when it seemed to be snowy, then cleared up for some incredible skiing. Other times it was clear all day only to cloud over and snow. It’s a gamble, but when conditions are right, moonlight tours are worth the trip. Skiing or snowshoeing by moonlight can be a beautiful and exhilarating experience.
