From Taos: North 22 miles on NM522 to Questa. Turn East on NM38 13 miles to Red River, head east on NM38 toward Eagle Nest. After 3 miles you will see a very large, brown sign that says, "Enchanted Forest". Turn right 200 feet past sign just past the mile post 16 sign onto dirt road (snow road in winter). Go down a small hill and then up a larger hill. Follow signs up hill to parking lot. Additional parking on highway lot.
